REINVENTION: The answer for organizations to THRIVE in 2022
Happy 2022!
As we all begin a new year with new hopes, positive thoughts, I invite you to think about your organization, business and reflect.
- What was your biggest challenge for your organization/business before the pandemic?
- What was your biggest challenge during the pandemic in the last two years?
- How are you surviving? How are you managing to thrive – beyond surviving – in the volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous world?
- Are you waiting for the world to calm down? Is it going to?
Well, to answer the last question as “yes” would be such a relief. Wouldn’t it? Unfortunately, the answer is more “not likely.”
If this is the case, how are you going to not only survive but thrive in your business?
This year, you will hear from me through webinars and workshops more on how to thrive in uncertainty to become FULFILLED leaders and build/lead FULFILLED teams thriving with high performance. We will talk about REINVENTION. Yes, that is correct, REINVENTION – not innovation.
Definition
Here is one of the definitions of REINVENTION*
(*The Reinvention Officer Handbook – How to Thrive in Chaos, Nadya Zhexembayeva, 2020)
“A structured and deliberate effort to engage in healthy cycles of planned renewal, building on the past to ensure current and future viability.”
What is the critical part of this definition for you? Please share in the comments.
Based on the research, the average life cycle of an organization is seven years in today’s continuously changing and uncertain environment. That means organizations need to review/revisit their processes, products, position in the marketplace, competitors, plans, strategies every 3.5 years not to sink but thrive.
Trends
Are you watching the trends, changes closely? Which changes will impact your business/organization the most? Can you anticipate? If you do, how do you design and implement change successfully?
According to BDC, when corporations launch transformations, 75% fail. BDC’s number is even higher than the 70% fail rate published by McKinsey & Company.
Since we’ve started our consulting practice, Nurdanpinar Solutions for Human Performance, we’ve been sensitive about anticipating, designing, and implementing change and adjusting our services, programs to make a more significant impact as we help organizations with their performance challenges.
In 2021, three years after the business launch, we decided to reinvent our programs/services based on our anticipation due to our experience. I’m excited to share the launch of our website, reinvented, and invite you to check it out.
Solution For Human Performance
I also encourage you to envision new ways of creating value continuously, so your organization can thrive in 2022.
